Applications with pre-insulated pipe systems
RAPID-CRYO und FIRESAFE® T90
The design of the RAPID-CRYO is specifically designed to meet the requirements of operation in extreme cold temperatures down to -195°C. FIRESAFE®T90 ensures increased safety and protection in the event of danger when used in explosive or fire-prone environments.
LNG TERMINAL IN TORNIO, FINLAND
In 2016 and 2017, Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG delivered more than 10 km of pre-insulated pipeline for a newly built LNG terminal in Tornio, Finland. With a total investment volume of €120 million, this is one of the largest LNG projects in Scandinavia. Nominal widths between DN 450 and DN 25 were installed.
GAS INDUSTRY
In 2014, Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG delivered pre-insulated pipes with a nominal diameter of DN 40 for use in a liquid nitrogen system, which is operated at a temperature of -196°C. For these extreme conditions, the RAPID CRYO system was chosen, which is specifically designed for these requirements.
INEOS B.V. INDUSTRIAL PARK ANTWERP, ETHYLENE PIPELINE
At the end of 2011, Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG delivered 2,000 m of pre-insulated pipeline with nominal diameters DN 400 and DN 80 for a jetty line (liquid ethylene) from the port to the INEOS industrial park in Antwerp. The line runs through public land, so the requirements for fire protection and environmental compatibility were particularly high.
