Pre-insulated composite pipes

Generally pre-insulated composite pipes are declared as carrier pipes which are already equipped with a layer of insulation and a protective jacket.

The specific behaviour of composite pipes is the contrary action as a unit compared to conventionally insulated pipelines. The insulation layer reacts as the transferring part for occurring forces and movements between carrier pipe and jacket vice versa.

Jabitherm pre-insulated composite pipes

In close cooperation with the customer Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG chooses the carrier pipe according to thermal and chemical requirements of the process (material, corrosion protection, integrated heating/cooling, etc.)

Products of Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG wear an insulation layer manufactured of especially developed, rigid PU-foam. Therefore the jacket gets step-resistant and insusceptible against external impact and pressure.

The jacket as a protective element and chosen according to requirements of the application, is developed and produced individually, showing an even and smooth surface.


The manufacturing process of Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG follows the regulations described in ISO 9001. Constant product quality is assured by defined processes within manufacture.
