Pipes
Preinsulated piping with composite insulation system RAPID for use in pipe bridges, buildings and ducts. Protecting jacket consists of spirally wound pipe locked at the inside. Polyurethane foam insulation, HCFC/CFC-free, bonding carrier pipe and protecting jacket to one unit.

Piping for cooling lines
Preinsulated piping with composite insulation system RAPID for use in pipe bridges, buildings and ducts. Carrier pipe in normal stock length. Protecting jacket consists of spirally wound pipe locked at the inside. The 4 times inside lock is sealed with an elastically base- and acid-proofed PTFE inlet. Polyurethane foam insulation, HCFC/CFC-free bonding carrier pipe and protecting jacket to one unit.

Tracer tubes (electric heated)
For electrical heated lines piping must have tracer tubes with a diameter (10x0,5 / 8x0,5 /oval 18x10x0,5) mm stainless steel 1.4301 fixed to the carrier pipe. The bonding material has a shear strength of 10 N/mm² (maximum temperature of 130° C - permanent exposure). Bonding material shall has a thermal conductivity of app. 1 W/mK for a maximum Temperature of 130° C (long running value). Bonding material withstands 180° C for short time strains. The bonding material has no corrosion influence to the carrier pipe and is of no hygroscopic material. The tracer tubes are bonded completely to the carrier pipe to allow perfect heat flow. All electrical tracer tubes are closed at the top. The end of the free pipe are flared not to damage the heating cable at installation. The tracer tubes are one piece an have no joints within the prefabricated insulation. The trace tubes extend 50 mm out of the insulation.

Constant power tracing
Carrier pipe and tracer tubes (stainless steel 10x0,5 mm) are bonded together with heat transfer cement. Bonding material must friction lock tracer tubes to carrier pipe and transfer a heat conduction of min. 10 W/m (Δ T heat tracing is designed adequately)

Self-regulating tracing
Carrier pipe and tracer tubes (stainless steel 18x10x0,5 mm) are bonded together with heat transfer cement. Bonding material must friction locked tracer tubes to carrier pipe and transfer a heat conduction of min. 10 W/m (Δ T heat tracing is designed adequately)

Insulation on site
Joints for pipe junction 400 mm long insulated on site. Protecting jacket to be same material as preinsulated piping. Insulation material must be mineral wool/PUR foam according to local spec. Plates fixed with self-tapping screws, Longitudinal and round joints permanently elastically sealed against water. Possible scaffolds supplied by building site.

Bend joints for insulting bare bends (DIN 2605, supplied by customer). Protecting jacket to be same material aspre-insulated piping. Insulation material to be mineral wool/PUR foam according to local spec. Plates fixed with self-tapping screws, longitudinal and round joints permanently elastically sealed against water. Possible scaffolds supplied by building site.

PUR-foam: mean density 60-80 kg/m³, HCFC/CFC-free CO² blown, heat conductivity 0,03 W/mK

Protecting jacket : Aluzinc 0,6/0,8 mm; Galvanized steel 0,6/0,8 mm; Stainless steel 1,4306 0,6/0,8 mm; Aluminium AlMg³ 0,8 mm 13.02.04
